Established...

Founded 1980. Rectory Road, Gateshead, England. Purchased Haile Bank Farm, Beckermet, England in 1987. We relocated and here we remain.

What We Do...

We Specialize in producing, procuring and distributing spares for Norton Motorcycles 1920 to 1977.
We source parts from over one hundred suppliers, the majority of whom are UK based. If you are in a position to supply us any Norton parts please contact us.
We manufacture parts in our own workshops.
We measure, test and inspect a selection of components from all inward deliveries.
We design, draw and specify components for batch production, responding to customer requests wherever possible, filling gaps or improving parts currently available.
We purchase unwanted inventories.
We distribute worldwide on a daily basis with over 96% of orders dispatched the same day 100% complete.
We deliver quick. Typical parcel delivery times would be:
UK - Next working day.
Western Europe - Two to three working days.
Rest of the World -  Three to Five working days.
Smaller orders (less than 2 kilos) are sent first class / air mail and for these delivery times can vary.

What We Have...

A mountain of Norton parts. The largest inventory we are aware of.
Fully computerised traceable stock control system.
Extensive technical library covering all aspects of mechanical and production engineering, failure analysis, tribology etc, complimented by a collection of several thousand factory drawings.
Extensive inspection equipment.
Roger's collection includes twenty five Norton Motorcycles for measuring, testing and evaluating new designs and components (sometimes we even let him out on them!)
We desperately need more singles.
Large collections of samples including some of the original bracebridge street samples.

Full production facilities to anneal, assemble, blank, blast, braze, burnish, clean, crop, cut, draw, drill, fabricate, fold, form, fit, grind, linish, mill, pierce, polish, punch, raise, ream, roll, shear, solder, test, thread, turn and weld.

Our Aims...

To stock and rapidly supply the widest possible range of spares, components and accessories for Norton Motorcycles.
To ensure our prices are always highly competitive.
To hold a sufficient depth of stock such that quality and continuity can be maintained without the variations and discrepancies that can occur within multiple small batches.
To liaise closely with customers and try to develop standard or improved parts as their requirements dictate.

Ultimately...

To help maintain and support the widespread use and enjoyment of Norton Motorcycles and derivatives thereof whether on the road or in sport.

RGM Norton is a Mail Order Business situated on the fringe of the Lake District in the North of England. We distribute Norton parts world wide on a daily basis. Established over 33 years ago and with what is probably the world's largest stock of Norton spares, you can depend on us for a quick and reliable service.

Our latest Catalogue (No. 31) is the last catalogue to be printed in 2012 with more parts, more pages and more pictures than ever before. We will happily send you a copy free of charge. Our Catalogue covers all Norton's but is primarily aimed at Commando's, Dominators and the road going Singles. We are responsible for the re-manufacture of thousands of parts to original or improved specification.
