USED ON THE COMMANDO BUT ALSO ON BOATS, CARAVANS ETC.  ALLOWS FOR POWER TO BE EXTRACTED FROM THE MOTORCYCLE BATTERY FOR A LIGHT OR RADIO WHATEVER.  ORIGINALLY ADVERTISED WHEN CAMPING BUT PERHAPS ITS BEST FEATURE IS EASY BATTERY CHARGING WITH NO CHANCE OF REVERSING POLARITY (ONCE YOU HAVE CONNECTED THE PLUG TERMINALS TO A BATTERY CHARGER).
