WEAR ON THE SPINDLES CAN CAUSE VERY POOR HANDLING, MOST SPINDLES WHEN MEASURED SHOW LARGE DEVIATIONS FROM THE CORRECT SIZE DUE TO AGE AND OFTEN CORROSION.  THESE SPINDLES ARE UK MADE , CASE HARDENED AND GROUND TO THE VERY TOP TOLERANCE TO REDUCE PLAY TO A MINIMUM.
