EARLY CLUTCH CHAINWHEEL
A VERY NICELY MADE CLUTCH CHAINWHEEL AS USED ON THE EARLIER NORTON'S WHERE THE FRICTION MATERIAL IS IN THE BOTTOM OF THE CHAINWHEEL. ORIGINALLY THEY USED CORK INSERTS BUT THESE DRUMS HAVE THE FRICTION MATERIAL BONDED ON THE FRONT AND BACK, (LATER DRUMS ARE PLAIN STEEL AND THE FRICTION MATERIAL IS BONDED TO THE BACK PLATE).
1.2" (30MM) DEEP, .605" (15.5MM) WIDE GROOVES. PLATED A VERY NICE BRONZE COLOUR.
A QUALITY PART FROM THE ORIGINAL WORKSHOP OF THE WORLD.
