CRANKCASE OIL UNION JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY, EARLY COMMANDO
EARLY COMMANDO CRANKCASE OIL UNION, DRAWN FEBRUARY 1968. 100% STAINLESS STEEL, CRAFTED IN OUR WORKSHOPS, TIG WELDED FOR MAXIMUM SECURITY.
ONE OF SEVERAL TYPES USED ON NORTONS. THIS PARTICULAR VERSION HAS ONE CRANKED AND ONE BENT 3/8" PIPE MOVING THEM APART SLIGHTLY AND WITH THE INNER OUTLET POINTING UP AT A STEEPER ANGLE THAN THE OUTER PIPE. BOTH HAVE A STEPPED SLEEVE ON THE END TO ACCEPT THE LARGER (7/16") HOSE USED ON ALL THE 750 ENGINES PRIOR TO 1970.
FROM 1970 RIGHT UP TO THE LAST 850 THE PIPES DID NOT HAVE THE SLEEVE AND USED 3/8" INTERNAL DIAMETER HOSE. THE BASE OF THE UNION IS INVESTMENT CAST STAINLESS STEEL AND UNIVERSAL ON ALL TWINS FROM THE FIRST 750 ATLAS, P11, G15, G15/33, CSR etc RIGHT THROUGH TO THE LAST COMMANDO. WE CAN ALSO SUPPLY THE BARE BASE FOR THOSE WHO WISH TO CONSTRUCT THEIR OWN ON PART NUMBER 032038B. THE GASKET IS PART NUMBER 032044, BOLT 030448S, DOWEL 067786 AND FOR OTHER UNIONS SEE 032046, 032047, 033165, 061345, 062206 AND 064134 FOR THE 750 AND UP, 19457A FOR THE 500-650 TWINS AND 19480A FOR THE SINGLES.
