THIS NUT IS 5/8" X 20 T.P.I. AND FITS ALL NORTON GEARBOX MAINSHAFTS. IT IS IDENTICAL TO THE STANDARD NUT 040373 APART FROM ITS LENGTH (STANDARD IS 3/8" - 9.5MM) AND MATERIAL 040373MD IS STAINLESS STEEL STANDARD IS PLAIN STEEL. 040373MD IS USED ON OUR PRE COMMANDO MAINSHAFT OIL SEAL KIT.
